Every day as revenge, birds attack a retired Russian general, who once sacrificed all the birds in Moscow to save his country. By chance, the general crosses paths with an extraordinary dog, and the two of them proceed to wage a delicate battle. When the city's dogs try to liberate all caged birds, the general intervenes in what will be his most noble struggle.

Francis Nielsen studied at the Violet Electronic School. He worked as first director assistant on the "The Twelve Tasks of Asterix" and "The Ballad of the Daltons". In 1988, he created Rooster Studio and began focusing mainly on television and TV series. In 2001, Francis Nielsen started working on "The Dog, The General and The Birds."
