Hunter Todd

Film Festival DirectorHunter has been honored with more than 115 international awards for creative excellence in film production, including: Cannes, Clio, Addy, Chicago, San Francisco, New York, The Christopher Award, Brussels, Atlanta, Cine Golden Eagle, Intl. Film & TV Festival of NY, Industrial Photography, Printing Industry of America, US Industrial, Arriflex, Tempere, Finland, Moscow, Seoul, Korea (4 times), Concorto (Italy), Golden Horse (Taipei) and Miami. He also has been the producer, director, writer and/or cameraman on more than 300 motion picture and video productions. These include TV specials, theatrical feature films, documentaries, TV commercials, and film for business and industry for such firms as: Coca-Cola, Ford, General Motors, Exxon, Arco, Shell, NASA, USIA, Paramount, Celanese and Union Carbide. He founded an International Film Society in 1961 to present a quality film festival for the Independent filmmakers. The Society evolved into WorldFest, a competitive International Film Festival, in 1968, and became the third competitive international film festival in North America, following San Francisco and New York. It is the oldest film festival in the South, and the longest running film festival in the world under the same festival Director & Founder, now 46 years and counting! Yikes!

Film Festival OfficesHunter is a graduate of The College of William & Mary, Fine Arts/Philosophy, and the John Marshall University, School of Law. His hobbies include: sailing, skiing, scuba diving, International travel, horseback riding, smallbore rifle, trap & skeet, wines, and gourmet cooking.

 

 

Kathleen Haney

Film Festival DirectorKathleen, a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Houston, holds a Liberal Arts degree. She has been working with WorldFest since 1989. She has served as the Vice-President of Operations for WorldFest-Charleston & WorldFest-Houston. Currently, Kathleen works as the Program Director for WorldFest-Houston. In her free time, she volunteers at Radio Amistad, St. Catherine’s Visitation Guild at St. Thomas Episcopal Church and enjoys sailing, traveling, cooking, writing, film and scuba diving.
