	Month Date Event Schedule: August 2007 1st Call for Entries for the 2008 WorldFest-Houston - Entries Officially open for the 41st Annual WorldFest Remi Award Competition! Festival Dates are April 18- 27, 2008 - The Main Deadline is December 15th, 2007. November 2007 15 Earlybird Discount Deadline - postmarked / shipped / mailed by! Discount is $5 per entry and $5 per additional category! This deadline is a mail-by deadline. This ends at midnight, Nov. 15th. December 2007 1 2008 Intern Interviews & Selections begin! 15 MAIN Official Entry Deadline! - We will accept Late Entries after December 15, 2007 to January 15th 2008! Email us for the extension. Entries for 2008 open August 1st 2007. January 2008 2 Internships Begin - through February 15th, 2008. Internships over May 15-31, 2008. 31 The Final "BRICK-WALL" Deadline for Entries is Jan. 31st, 2008! This is an "BE HERE BY" deadline, all entries must reach the festival office by Tuesday, January 31st, 2008. March 2008 15/30 Nominees Notified during this two week period. Entries are now closed for 2008. April 2008 17-27 The 41st Annual WorldFest-Houston - 10 great days in April. 55 features, 96 shorts, 6 Professional Production Seminars - All film screenings at the AMC Studio 30 at Dunvale Theaters. The Official HQ Hotel - The Renaissance Hotel - Greenway Plaza (713) 629-1200 Special WorldFest Rates! with rooms starting at just $99 a night! They offer free shuttle bus service to The AMC Theater. The WorldFest Professional Production Seminars are Thursday April 24 at 10am and 2pm, Friday, April 25 at 10am and 2pm and Saturday April 26 at 10am and 2pm. Awards Gala Dinner, Sat. April 26, 2008. Houston Yacht Club/WorldFest Regatta, VIP NASA/Space Center Houston Tour and Texas BBQ on Sunday, April 27th, 2008.
