Chasing his dream to promote huge concerts and events, Claudio Callabero convinces his girlfriend, Gloria, to loan him her parents' savings. After he loses the entire $500,000 at a clandestine casino, Claudio gets one last chance to find old partners and make new friends - even if it is just for a week before they kill him.

Fernando Kalife wrote and directed The Mexican Way, a short that won the Original Comedy Bronze Award at Worldfest 2001. In 2001-2002, he was a Visiting Scholar for the Masters Program at USC Film School. 7 Dias won "Diosa de Plata" Awards (given by film critics and specialized press) for Best Director and Best Film in Mexico (2005).
