TEXAS PREMIERE

When Trendafil attempts an escape from civil war ravaged Macedonia, his mother-n-law dies from heat exhaustion. He calls on a long lost cousin, Vitomir, for help, and the two must take the grandmother back in an adventure mixed with the danger and terror of war and the absurdity of transporting a dead woman across countries in a rolled up carpet.

Darko Mitrevski was born in Skopje, Macedonia in 1971. His previous film credits include Light Gray and Good Bye 20 th Century . Darko has several television credits as well as hundreds of commercials and music clips. He recently received awards at the Moscow Film Festival in 2005 for Special Mention of the Guild of the Russian Film Critics and the Best Regional Film at the Motovun Film Festival in 2005.
