USA PREMIERE

Extreme climactic conditions cramp a group of German mountaineers together, leaving them with sparse rations and putting the men's camaraderie to the test. Their dire fight for survival is not a matter of the heroic deeds of the characters but rather a search for humanity in personal and moralistic failures.

Philip Haucke was born in Duesseldorf in 1978. After studies in Econonmics and Medicine, he enrolled at the Academy of Television and Film in Munich. Also active as a cameraman and director's assistant, he has directed the shorts Key Moment (1999), Black Baby (2000), Borneo (2001). Cold Void (2004) was his graduation feature film.
